Rosnet Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Rosnet mobile app collects, uses and protects your personal data. Rosnet is a social communication app (servers, channels, direct messages, posts and stories).

Data we collect: account info (email, username); user content (messages, posts, comments, stories, photos/videos, audio messages, profile photo); identifiers (user ID, device push token); technical data (IP address, basic logs).

How we use it: solely for app functionality — authentication, delivering and displaying content, sending notifications, abuse prevention, security and content moderation (reporting and user blocking), and support. We do not show ads, use third‑party analytics, or track you across apps/sites. We do not sell your data.

Sharing: content you post is shared with the relevant users by the nature of the app; data is hosted only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the service (our server hosting provider and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications); and disclosed to authorities only when legally required.

Retention & deletion: we keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account anytime from Profile → Delete my account; deletion removes your email and username, anonymizes your personal data and ends all sessions.

Security: all traffic is encrypted over HTTPS and passwords are stored hashed (bcrypt).

Children: Rosnet is not directed to children under 13.

Your rights: you may access, correct and delete your personal data (in‑app or by contacting us).
